As the thermal lead for the DANDE satellite (winner of the National University Nanosat V competition), thank you for your support - Thermal Desktop has been critical to the success of our project. Through the development of the project, we have used Thermal Desktop to make a detailed model to study the thermal environment of the satellite. The intensity of the modeling has allowed us to have a completely passive system which greatly decreased the complexity of the project leading to its success! More information about the DANDE satellite can be found at dande.colorado.edu. Thanks again!
Emily Walters - Thermal Lead, DANDE Project, University of Colorado - Boulder
In light of our recent success, [Cornell University’s CUSat Satellite Project, winner of the University Nanosat-4 Competition] would like to take this opportunity once again express our sincere gratitude for your generous support. Without your dedication and faith, our project would not have achieved such a lofty goal. On behalf of the over 200 students involved in the planning, design, and fabrication of our satellites, thank you!
Mason Peck, Principal Investigator, CUSat Satellite Project
Your contribution greatly benefited the Oculus project and we would like to sincerely thank you for your help and share with you the status of our project as we prepare to attend our final review in Albuquerque on January 20, 2009. I would like to especially thank you for taking extra time to help Braden understand how to use Thermal Desktop. Our team has worked hard for the last two years so that we can return to Houghton with the news that Michigan Tech will be putting its first satellite into space!

I can safely
state that in the past 12 months, SINDA/FLUINT has become the single
most useful analytical tool in use in my business...In the case
of the liquid propellant engine system, SINDA/FLUINT was used to
evaluate the effects on a control system due to a combination of
varying hardware and environmental factors. I was very pleasantly
surprised at how quickly and easily a system and its sensitivities
could be characterized...Thank you for an excellent product.

I am fascinated by TD's capabilities, it is truly cool. I've
been doing thermal analysis for almost 30 years and I really enjoy
developing the models and working with TD capabilities.

Thermal Desktop
is a fabulous piece of software. This software rocks!

This
software is very helpful and very reliable. We will keep it in the
department.

The CRTech
technical staff has always been extremely responsive and helpful
with my own analysis questions, and this characteristic is critical
when working with students. We want them to have a positive learning
experience with the whole Nanosat program and that includes being
able to perform accurate simulations for analyses in a very short
period of time.
